Gov. Scott Walker’s office is seeking candidates for two prosecutor openings in Wisconsin.
Both Brown and Racine counties have vacant district attorney positions after John Zakowski and Mike Nieskes were appointed to their respective circuit courts benches last month.
Walker appointed Nieskes, who had been the district attorney in Racine since 2004, on Dec. 14. Zakowski became Brown County District Attorney in 1986 and Walker appointed him to the bench Dec. 21.
Applicants for both openings have until Jan. 27 to submit resumes, cover letters and applications to [email protected].
