Gov. Scott Walker on Friday appointed Oneida County Circuit Court Judge Mark Mangerson to serve on the bench in the District Three Court of Appeals.

Mangerson replaces Judge Ed Brunner, who retired in August after four years on the appellate court bench.

Mangerson served as Branch 2 judge in Oneida County for 24 years, but filed notification of non-candidacy with the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board  on Nov. 18.

Prior to taking the bench, he was in private practice for 10 years, served as an assistant district attorney in Vilas County and also as Oneida County District Attorney.
