WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (AP) – A Wisconsin Rapids man convicted of threatening two judges in Wood County is facing new charges of sending letters to the jurors who found him guilty.
Forty-nine-year-old Donald Maier is charged with 10 counts of stalking. He remains behind bars on $25,000 bond. Maier threatened Wood County Judge Edward Zappen Jr. and Judge James Mason in 2005. A jury found him guilty in 2006 and he was sent to prison for two years.
WSAW-TV says Maier is expected to enter a plea to the latest charges during a court appearance Dec. 14.
