A West Allis-based roofing company is being sued by Ameritech Publishing Inc. for allegedly failing to pay more than a$23,000 in advertising purchases.

According to a complaint filed by Troy, Mich.-based Ameritech in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Pro Seal Roofing Corp. purchased advertising in the September 2008 editions of the Greater Wisconsin Business to Business Yellow Pages and the Greater Milwaukee Four-County & Vicinity Yellow Pages.

Pro Seal also purchased advertising in the October 2009 Greater Milwaukee Four-County & Vicinity Internet Yellow Page directories, according to the complaint.

The company’s owner, Robert Overland, did not immediately return calls and attorneys for Ameritech could not be immediately reached for comment.

Ameritech had an “implied” contract with Pro Seal to provide advertising services. The company has failed or refused to pay for services rendered, despite efforts to collect, according to the complaint.

According to the complaint, Pro Seal owes $23,966.21.
