KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — A 39-year-old man was sentenced to 31 years in prison for killing a woman in Kenosha County while drunken driving.

Jorge Dominquez was convicted in April of 15 charges, including homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, in the May 31, 2010 crash that killed 45-year-old Dawn Glogovsky.

The Journal Times of Racine reports she, her husband Frank and their teenage son were driving north on Highway 45 in the town of Paris when Dominguez in westbound vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. He broadsided the vehicle.

Dominguez fled on foot and called for a ride. Police said he appeared to be driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Dominguez was also sentenced Friday in Kenosha County to 22 years extended supervision.
