More than 200 people attended the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Associations 2nd Annual Evening at the Courthouse on Sept. 16. The event featured a sending-off party of sorts for U.S. Magistrate Judge Aaron E. Goodstein, who after 31 years on the bench, assumed recall status in June.

Colleagues and former clerks praised Goodstein for everything from his judicial demeanor to his golf game during the ceremony held in the atrium of the Federal Courthouse in downtown Milwaukee.
