00-2576-CR State v. Walker

By: dmc-admin//August 20, 2001//

Listen to this article

Roger S. Walker appeals from a judgment of conviction entered against him after a jury trial, and from the order denying his motion for postconviction relief. He argues on appeal that he received ineffective assistance of trial counsel.

Because we conclude that Walker’s trial counsel was ineffective for failing to object to the admission of certain evidence and for failing to move for a mistrial, we reverse the judgment and remand for a new trial.

This opinion will not be published.
