Kristin J. appeals the trial court’s order terminating her parental rights to Alexis J. following the trial court’s entry of a default judgment against her. She also appeals the trial court’s denial of her motion asking for relief from the judgment. She contends that her due process rights were violated when the trial court entered a default judgment after she failed to appear at a hearing. She also asserts that the trial court erroneously exercised its discretion when it refused to grant her motion seeking relief from the default judgment. Because the State confesses error, this court reverses and remands directing the trial court to set aside the termination of parental rights order. Because the first issue is dispositive, this court declines to address the second issue raised on appeal. This opinion will not be published.
